Those Danes are returning back to what they know!
It appears not everyone is sticking with the trend of the Nordic/Scandi semi-final system. DR has decided, after trying the semi's for a couple of years, that it doesn't like the results that have been produced by this system for them and are going back to what they know.... ONE contest, on ONE night to select ONE song!
Hoorah, the purists amongst you may cry, but as we know with DR, anything is possible. They have said though that they will be looking for songs from the public, and have reserved six slots in the 10 song final for these. The other four will be commissioned by DR. THREE rounds of voting - A Normal round - 2 x Semi Finals and a Final to get to the winner!!

2 wins, a 2nd and 3 3rds is all what Denmark have to show for their Eurovision. Lots of good songs though that were not wanted by the juries.
Talking of which....
