2009 Turkish Entry - Hadise

TRT choose big name singer for Moscow.

Hadise will represent TRT at the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow with the song Dun Tek Tek.

The 23 yr old singer seems to be a popular choice for the ticket to Moscow. She has had many singles, though a few of them have had rather unfortunate names like Sweat and Milk Chocolate Girl - a rather unfortunate combination you must agree!

She has been studying Marketing in Belgium and has been approached by Belgian broadcasters at least twice. However, she has politely declined. In a move that might anger some Turkish ESC purists, Hadise has got complete control over the language that she is going to sing in, the style of the song etc..etc...

Personally I think this is a good thing - but others clearly don't or won't... oh and she speaks 5 languages so the pronunciation of the words won't be a problem, thank the lord!
